D’Alep à Idleb: la parole aux Syriens.

En décembre 2016, le régime syrien a forcé les habitants d’Alep-Est à se déplacer vers les campagnes  d’Alep et d’Idleb sous contrôle de l’opposition au régime de Damas. Il est urgent de continuer à informer l’opinion publique en France et ailleurs en Europe sur la situation des civils dans cette région de Syrie et qui, comme d’autres territoires aux mains de l’opposition  est toujours la cible de bombardements.

A cette fin, le Collectif des Amis d’Alep entend avec différents partenaires, porter la parole de la société civile en invitant une nouvelle fois des acteurs de terrain qui ont choisi de rester sur place;  en l’absence de journalistes occidentaux , leurs témoignages sont devenus  rares et peu audibles.

Intervenants

Un long et délicat travail de prise de contacts nous a permis d’identifier, au fil de nombreux échanges des acteurs syriens qui réalisent sur le terrain un travail significatif: deux journalistes, un humanitaire et un avocat: ils ont  une parole essentielle à porter en Europe sur la vie et le travail de la société civile qui continuent malgré tout. 

Appel d’urgence pour sécuriser la dernière voie d’approvisionnement d’Alep.

La défense civile et le Conseil du Gouvernorat d’‪Alep, la Coalition Nationale Syrienne, réclament une action urgente pour sécuriser la route Castello des attaques de la ‪Russie‬, de l’‪YPG‬ (PYD kurde) et du Régime ‪Assad‬. La route est la seule voie d’approvisionnement pour les alépins libres.

Civil Defense & Provincial Council in Aleppo Signal Alarm as City’s Last Supply Route Comes under Attack

The Civil Defense Corps and the provincial council in Aleppo called for urgent action to protect the Castello road, the last supply route to the rebel-held parts of the city. The road has been coming under airstrikes by regime forces and rocket and mortar shelling by the militias of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) for the last few days.

In a joint statement released on Wednesday, the Civil Defense Corps and Aleppo provincial council said that that the targeting of the Castello road threatens cutting off fuel and humanitarian aid to Aleppo. They added that the road has been effectively cut off due to constant bombardment since Monday.

The Castello road and the area near the Aljandoul roundabout were hit by barrel bombs earlier today. A civilian was killed and many more wounded in shelling by the YPG militias on the road.

Regime forces and their allied militias lay sieges on dozens of cities and towns across Syria and prevent aid convoys from entering those areas, as was the case in the town of Daraya in rural Damascus recently. Regime forces continue to violate UN Security Council resolutions 2254 and 2165 as well as the “cessation of hostilities” agreement which all calCoalition Cl for lifting the sieges, allowing access for humanitarian aid, stopping attacks on civilians and releasing detainees.
